Fetish, Ballet & Boldness: A Queer Portrait in Full Power

There’s something sacred about being witnessed—not just seen, but truly witnessed.

In May 2024, I had the opportunity to create something electric during a Lindsay Adler workshop. I collaborated with a breathtaking male model whose presence was magnetic: ballet slippers tied tight, a playboy bunny mask tilted just so, and the kind of confidence that demands attention without saying a word.

These images are a reminder of what boudoir really is.

It’s not about lingerie.
It’s not about gender.
It’s not about how you’ve been taught to pose or perform.

Boudoir—at its core—is about expression. Liberation.
Self-love made visible.

And during Pride Month—when queer and trans lives are still under threat across this country and beyond—this shoot carries more weight than just a creative concept.
Because this is what resistance can look like.
A man in a bunny mask, dancing between grace and kink. A body refusing to be boxed in. A bold visual anthem for anyone who’s ever been told they’re “too much.”

At Ella Studios, I don’t just photograph cis women. I work with humans—of every background, every body, every identity. My studio is a sanctuary for those ready to reclaim how they see themselves, maybe for the first time ever.

Because boudoir isn’t reserved for one kind of person.
It’s for anyone brave enough to say: “This is me.”

If you’ve ever felt too queer, too soft, too loud, or too complex—let this post be your reminder:
You are not too anything.
You are art.
You are already enough.

This Pride, let your self-love be loud.
Raise the flag. Wear the heels. Stand in the light.
The world doesn’t need a quieter version of you—it needs the real you.
